About the Journal

The Journal of Frontier Geography publishes spatially explicit research and theory across scale. It welcomes work that integrates maps, models, field evidence, remote sensing, and lived landscapes while making uncertainty and spatial assumptions visible.

Scope and editorial approach. Its scope includes Human and physical geography; GIS and remote sensing; Cartography; Landscape and mobility; Urban and regional studies; Environmental change; Spatial humanities; Geospatial methods; Critical data studies. Peer review includes scrutiny of methodology, cartography, spatial data, uncertainty, reproducibility, and the relationship between representation and interpretation.
